This should still be an option/choice, though, and not run only 4-E cores even when choosing 4+ cores. I guess the cool thing about this, is that the virtual machines can run in the background on the E-cores, and you can game/do more extensive tasks on the host with the available P-cores. I got worse than my OC'ed Ry(Even if it wasn't OC'ed.) I upgraded from (For VMware). I have over 10+ virtual machines I use, that is more trouble than just switching to another client.) I bought the i7 for virtual machines over the i5 with the thought I could utilize my 8 cores and possibly even my 4 extra E-cores - but the bare minimum being the 8 cores, for the same performance. It would hog the E-cores to the point they started to not work, so, definitely, a problem that needs to be addressed (Besides editing the config file for EVERY Virtual machine/setting affinity. I didn't even think about having multiple VM's running. VirtualBox doesn't have this issue, and Hyper V uses the 8 P-cores instead (Better than disabling E-cores in BIOS) - looks like the answer, for now, is VirtualBox for anything I need more than 4 cores - 3.7GHz on.
